About Zennor Petroleum

Zennor Petroleum is an established UKCS operator with 5,000 boe/day of net production and 100 mmboe of 2P and 2C resources. Our aim is to consistently deliver superior returns to our investors.
Kerogen Energy Fund II, Zennor's majority shareholder, invested initially in August 2015 and has made an equity commitment of US$300 million to Zennor. That equity is now being deployed as we build out our portfolio from our ETAP and Britannia production hubs. We have recently sanctioned the development of the Finlaggan Field via the Britannia infrastructure and with additional projects and funding secured, Zennor's growth to a 20,000 boe/day net producer is clearly mapped out.

The Zennor team

From a largely shared heritage at ARCO through the 1990s, the management team has subsequently brought success to several North Sea oil companies. This team has now been enhanced by experienced talent brought in from other successful North Sea operators.

  • Our Funding

Kerogen Capital, Zennor's majority shareholder, increased it's commitment in Zennor to US$300 million in 2016. Kerogen, together with its limited partners, may commit up to a total of US$400 million to Zennor during the course of its investment. Proceeds from Kerogen’s investment are being used to fund the development of Zennor’s existing assets and expand the portfolio by way of new acquisitions, farm-ins and Licensing Rounds.

  • Our History

Zennor’s heritage and focus can be traced back to the mid-1990s and the successful missed pay strategy of ARCO International. It was during this period that the ‘art’ of missed pay ("undeveloped discoveries") recognition was integrated with real science, producing a systematic process that holds the key to repeatability and hence to success. Zennor is the re-creation of the same subsurface principles, updated with new ideas and concepts.

  • Our Governance

The Board of Zennor Petroleum Limited comprises Dr Alan Parsley (Chairman), Martin Rowe (Managing Director), Rod Crawford (Technical Director), James Henry (Finance Director), Jason Cheng, Philip Jackson and John Daniel (Non-executives).
