Zennor to be offered block in UKCS 29th Offshore Licensing Round

Zennor Petroleum Limited (“Zennor” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Zennor North Sea Limited, has been successful in the UK’s 29th Offshore Licensing Round.  Zennor is to be offered a Licence by the Oil and Gas Authority (“OGA”) over UKCS NNS Block 2/5b which contains the oil accumulation known as Southwest Heather.

The Southwest Heather discovery well 2/5-10 tested at a combined rate of over 6,000 bopd from three distinct reservoir horizons, and Zennor believes the discovery area warrants further appraisal.

This addition to Zennor’s portfolio fits well with the Company’s strategy of building a diversified UK portfolio from which to craft an asset base over the next few years, delivering more than 10,000 bopd of net production and 100 mmboe of 2P/2C resource.
