Summary

Licence P1242 contains the Platypus Discovery in the Southern North Sea.  The Rotliegend reservoir accumulation was discovered in 2010 and appraised with a horizontal well in 2012.  The discovery well encountered a 221 ft tvd column of gas.  The subsequent appraisal well tested at 27 mmscf/d  and demonstrated an accumulation with the potential for in excess of 100 bcf of reserves.

There is an untested Rotliegend structure, Possum, to the east of Platypus.
